Capone's photo was the front page of the Globe and Mail (Cdn nat'l newspaper) on the weekend. Interview with Spink, and the news that apparently there was a high speed chase here involving two horse trailers (one with Capone inside). They didn't mention any of Spink's other activities though.
Good. I'm glad he's still safe in Canada and I hope he stays that way!

I heard there was a "mid-speed chase" with horse trailers and lawyers and pickups involved. Seriously. This whole thing just gets classier by the minute.
I bet Capone's happy to be, living an, er, unmolested life in Canada these days. Here's hoping that someone steps up with the unsavory stuff Spinks does on the intertubes.

According to some people in prominent places-
The pro rider who was showing Capone dropped Spink as a client when he (Spinkter) wanted to ride along in the truck with them on the road between shows.
Um, NO! As in, NO FUCKING WAY!
I can't say as I blame the guy!

High speed chase in a horse trailer? Hopefully only down straight stretches. Trailers get tipped at NORMAL speeds. What if said stud had fallen over and tipped the trailer? BLOOD ALL ROUND!

Thank goodness he is still safe. After all he is an extremely talented horse. I hope Corinne gets to keep him. He deserves a good life.
Okay, so this question is for those of you with legal backgrounds.
Will his history of being 'zoo' have any bearing on whether he gets the horse back? Is the ownership issue seperate? Can his 'relationship' with the horse have any bearing on the case?

See.. I have issues with this whole situation.. the Corrinne Chick is Bat Shit Crazy too.. I mean like off her fucking rocker crazy, and her place is being forclosed (is up for sale to try and get somr cash out before then I presume)
Honestly, Doug and her were perfect together, and would have been even better if they never got into horses...
Corrinne has been caught in lies during legal proceedings etc, I adnmit id do anything to keep these horses away from Doug... But leaving them with a well known up-hill skier (coke head) who cant tell the difference between legal and not, isnt much better.
Capone is in his prime, and needs to get out there and be shown. The syndicate who owns him should Let thier balls drop, and get thier damn horse, and get out of this whole group.
Anyone who has ever met Corrinne or had any dealings with her would agree, its understandable how Doug can go from fucking livestock to her.. uncanny ressemblance..
