Cowgirl Spirit Rescue Drill Team, which I've talked about here before, is having a fundraiser car wash this Saturday at the Grange in Issaquah, 145 NE Gilman Blvd, between 10 AM and 3 PM. All proceeds benefit the rescue, which takes slaughter-bound and otherwise endangered horses, rehabs, trains them and competes with them in drill team competitions before adopting them out. First of all, they need volunteers to help! If you're not busy this Saturday and would like to help a great rescue, please e-mail Susan.
Secondly, if your car is filthy (I know mine is), stop by the Grange and get it washed while you do your shopping for horse supplies!
